Young Flint corn

This is for seed, so I am planting it much closer together than you should. I will keep it heavily fertilized with chicken manure, and harvest very hardy seed stock.This photo from 2008 is about 2 and a half weeks after planting seed which was presoaked in water, to give it a head start.
