Young Flint corn

This is for seed, so we are planting it much closer together than you should. We will keep it heavily fertilized with chicken manure, and harvest very hardy seed stock.This photo from 2008 is about 2 and a half weeks after planting seed which was presoaked in water, to give it a head start.
