Red lettuce plants

These will add bright color to summer salads and sandwiches. This photo was taken in late May, and the harvest will go through June. Some people are claiming all the red and purple vegetables contain far more antioxidants. I don't know if that is true, but this lettuce tastes great, and looks great too!
