Flint Indian Corn

Our Flint Indian Corn is off to a good start in this early July photo. It was fertilized at planting, and side dressed with fertilizer again when knee high. Once fully mature in the Fall, the stalks will be brown when I pick it. The cobs will be shelled in the Winter after careful and complete drying. The seeds will be packaged and ready to sell for next years gardens.
